Influencer Marketing is definitely having a moment. Forbes contributor John Hall says that the “influencer marketing gold rush” is here. And with good reason – brands are finding out that leveraging influencers is key to increased engagement and awareness; according to a study in eMarketer, 81% of marketers who have worked with influencers said that it was effective.
There’s a plethora of influencer companies and platforms out there to choose from to assist your influencer campaign. However, you pay these types of influencer companies for access to their list of influencers and their time managing those relationships.
Whether or not that approach is right for you, you still need a plan for why, how and when you’ll be using this network of experts and tastemakers, particularly if you’re planning to use them around an event or product launch.
