Let’s Talk Projects: IBM, GE and Lowe’s
Oct 27, 2014
Things have been full speed ahead at Centerline these days, so we wanted to share with you some of the projects we’ve recently completed.
GE Rail Interactive
What began as a sales enablement tool has become something much more than that. This interactive is also being used as an educational awareness piece and a lead generator.
While the interactive is now live on the GE Rail website, its initial use was for InnoTrans 2014 – where users were introduced to the Industrial Internet using a 103-inch touch screen overlay. (View here)
IBM Power8 Whitespace Campaign
In support of a whitespace campaign, an educational hub on IBM.com was created to proactively answer the questions of an audience that could be using their product, but are not. The hub takes the user through a customized learning process in order to discover the qualities of Power8 technology that would be most beneficial to them.
To create valuable content for the audience, we interviewed some of the greatest minds in the big data industry. That included Kirk D. Borne, a data scientist who worked on projects with NASA for nearly 20 years (he even helped with the Hubble Space Telescope!). (View here)
Lowe’s Home Improvement Snow Thrower
Imagine trying to create snow in a North Carolina summer. That was the hurdle for this project. We rented a commercial air conditioner, set up a tent outside, blew snow and made it happen. Take a look behind the scenes and learn about the creative process that made the video successful. Then, watch the final piece and see if you can tell it’s summertime. (View here)
