Spotlight 509 – A pop-up art gallery featuring Centerliners’ own passion projects
Apr 10, 2015
Centerliners are creative and artistic beyond what is seen at work. We have photographers, painters, sewers, furniture markers, woodworkers and more. Creating isn’t just a part of our job—it’s a part of who we are, and we wanted to share that with our community.
Spotlight 509, a pop-up gallery hosted at Centerline, featured the work of 30 Centerliners. The creative showcase highlighted artists’ musical and dance talents, sculptures, animations, jewelry and more.
The art was juried by three Centerline alumni. Best in Show was awarded to Bryan Tighe, Senior Interactive Developer, for the photography he took of the culture, people, and scenery in destinations around the world.
Three Judge’s Choice Awards were also awarded:
- David Baeumler, Executive Creative Director, for his Film / Installation
- Chingyao Chou, Art Director, for his animation that celebrated his daughter’s 3rd birthday
- Eric Kramer, Motion Graphics Designer, for his Woodworking/Metalworking
