Three Projects Honored with The Communicator Awards’ Award of Distinction
Apr 29, 2015
Centerline is proud to announce that we have been awarded three Communicator Awards. These awards honor excellence in marketing and communications. Founded two decades ago, The Communicator Awards receive more than 6,000 entries from companies and agencies throughout the world of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind.
We received the Award of Distinction for the following projects and their specified categories:
IBM Mainframe50, Integrated Campaign – Business to Business
For this project, we partnered with IBM to transform the negative and perpetuate the positive perceptions of the 50-year-old mainframe by building awareness around its continuous innovation and how the world’s most important businesses depend on its value. Through Engines of Progress Videos, zIQ Animations, the World Championship “Master the Mainframe” Competition and the Mainframe50 Tumblr page, we helped shift the minds of the naysayer audience, enable the evangelists to amplify the message of the mainframe’s advantage, and educate future business leaders about the power of the mainframe.

Lowe’s Product Innovation Videos, Film/Video – How-To/Instructional
To help users understand how a product works before the purchase, Centerline partnered with Lowe’s to create an enhanced customer experience through in-store innovative videos. The information plunged past product lectures and provided a deeper demonstration of what customers can accomplish with the right tools and services from Lowe’s. The videos, placed in every single Lowe’s story across the country, captured customer attention and taught them more about specific products. Overall, customer satisfaction of in-store experience increased, leading to a significant boost in sales.
We continue to create these Product Innovation experiences for Lowe’s. See some of the videos here.
Telit “Internet of Things”, Film/Video – Live Events
In order to tell the story of Telit’s solutions in a highly visual way, the leading machine-to-machine (M2M) technology provider looked to Centerline. Our challenge was to explain the complicated concept of “The Internet of Things” and how Telit technology powers it in an easy-to-understand, visually appealing way. The visionary video was more than just pretty pictures. It helped Telit’s audience truly understand the capabilities of its products for the first time. “The most common comment we got throughout the event was ‘this is amazing, now we get it’…it’s been 10 years trying to get to this point,” said Joe Braga, Global Head of Brand & Marcom, Telit Wireless Solutions.
Learn more about how we used 3D animation to demonstrate behind-the-scenes value in this video. Read about its success and then the details of the creation of a second vision video.
Thank you and congrats to all involved!
We are very honored to partner with IBM, Lowe’s and Telit on these projects as well as others. Congratulations to these clients and to the Centerliners who put so much time, thought and effort into making each project a success.
