Vitamin T Project Manager Mania Game Wins Gold ADDY
Feb 26, 2015
Centerline is honored to announce that our work for Vitamin T received a Gold American Advertising Award, which recognizes “the most creative and well-executed design and advertising work.” The Project Manager Mania game will move on to the district level and, hopefully, to the national level.
The start of our partnership
Vitamin T needed ongoing content that would explain why businesses today need creative professionals, ultimately driving the target audience to hire the right people through the agency itself. Additionally, Vitamin T wanted to reach talent to recruit by being recognized as an industry thought leader.
We initially brought to life statistics that would resonate with companies seeking talent, as well as creatives, in an engaging, interactive infographic that explains the power of UX throughout the buyer’s journey. We then crafted a Mobile First interactive that focuses on the importance of mobile web development.
Continuing that initial strategy
For the next act, we worked with the creative staffing agency to evolve the idea of Project Management as an integral part of a successful creative agency; so we developed a game to teach users about the importance of project management and drive users to trust Vitamin T to help them find the best Project Management talent – all without a hard sell.
The game allows players to experience the steps of the project cycle in three different levels. The planning/preproduction level requires players to set up elements in the right order so that the machine will start. The production level has players literally put out all the fires so that they can avoid the items that can derail a project. Lastly, the post-production level has players carefully collect all the falling sweets, and avoid all the acorns, requiring them to pay attention to the littlest details.
The Project Manager Mania game is an experience that grabs visitors’ attention, ultimately educating the audience on how crucial project managers are and driving players to reach out to Vitamin T to hire this essential member of any production process. The game also sparks sharing via social media, greatly contributing to its success, as players can self-identify with the experience and, therefore, want to share it with social friends and acquaintances.
Congratulations to all involved
A big congrats to Vitamin T, and to the entire team that worked on this project!
